Who loves rainy weather?

I always find comfort on rainy days. Especially when it's weekend, so I can live like a spring roll for a day. Feels like a holiday for me😅

I’ve taken a weeks vacation and it’s pretty much rained here all week on and off. We’ve just entered our early autumn here in the United Kingdom. Tuesday, I went to a lovely park I had never been to before. It had just stopped raining when I arrived, and it was beautiful. You could hear the rain dripping off the trees on to the fallen leaves below, and everywhere smelt of damp woodlands. It seemed to clear the air and everywhere was fresh and clean.

I was awoken this morning (Saturday) by a heavy rainfall, luckily it was early this morning. So I was all still cosy and warm in bed listening hit the windows and the ground outside. But it’s now stopped for the time being and is just grey and overcast at the moment.

I do. I sometimes go somewhere that is usually crowded on a bright day, and enjoy the solitude. Favorite place in the rain is Pelican Hill Resort in Newport sitting in the Coliseum, having lunch overlooking the huge pool with steam coming off, and watching the rain. A great place to enjoy a rainy day and a nice glass of wine and lunch. No noise, not a bunch of people crowding around et cetera.

Newport Beach, California. I just came back and had lunch. More fun and quieter during a rain, and it is really a nice way to spend an afternoon of peace and quiet. Great for anyone.

I absolutely love the rain 🌧️. I love the sound of it falling, softly and hard.

When I was a young girl, the rain used to put my mother in the mood to make homemade chocolate fudge cooked on the stove top with a real big spoon.
God I loved a rainy day with warm chocolate fudge.

Without rainy days, there weren't any fudge days.

@juene unfortunately, no, she didn't. When I grew up I found a delicious recipe for chocolate fudge on the jar of whipped marshmallow cream. I cooked it in the microwave and it came out great. I brought the pan to work and everyone loved my fudge. I loved it myself so much, I would make a panful just for me🙂.

If you want great fudge you need to use really fresh ingredients 🌹

I love having real seasons that are short. I love each one so long as they are short lived. Our summers are a bit too long and our snow days only last a day or two which is too short to me. But rain is the absolute best it can be a roaring downpour with wind, lightning and thunder or a gentle rain. It cleans off everything even the air smells so good!

I love rain. Definitely my favorite weather, as long as it’s relatively warm outside. I hate sunny days, I’m out here squinting all day, it’s too much light for my eyes. We just had rain the other day, and I was stoked because I love a gray, rainy day as the backdrop for all the vibrant colors of the autumn leaves this time of year, makes it all pop that much more👍
