What is your favorite activity to warm you up, when you're cold?

Sometimes I come in from night rides and it’s not until I get my gear off that the chill hits. The amount of time it takes to sort everything back to it’s spot will do it if I forget to put my puffer jacket on. Anyway. Family sorts me out. Furries follow me around in a line too. Normally I’m the furnace.

Depends on circumstances. Setting aside rising the heating a bit: if at home watching TV for instance, put on an extra pullover and warm socks. Drinking something hot. Otherwise go for a quick walk or jogging. To resist and in the meantime doing some physical activity, I go swimming 3 times a week.

Playing the cello, by the way, is a nice way to get warm. And yes, sex is one of the best methods to keep ones body warm ;0)

We do have a really nice fireplace in our family room, and maybe someday will have a hot tub, just not quite yet. All of our children spent a lot of time in front of that fireplace the first couple of months of life. It has a fan on it so it really warms up the room.

If I'm working, add a sweater/fleece jacket, make a cup of coffee and take a quick walk around my building then back to work.

If I'm at home, pair of socks and curl up in front of the fireplace with a blanket, coffee, and the dat.
