I was called handsome once (I still have no idea why "handsome") but I loved it

when this (arguably) hottest-est girl in college class saw me with the one that was going to be my girlfriend soon after it... and then she said to me "damn, now I'm sure I could not steal you from her..." lol

and when I inquired about that being said, she said "I see it in the way you look at her"
and "no wonder why you're pretty much the only gut that has not tried to hit on me yet" lmao... and I took this as a compliment even if it wasn't, and it was just the start of a long conversation and chat I had with her about these things which "opened my eyes" to many things about girls and all that stuff, and the last thing she said before she took off to go home was when she said "thought you were the lucky one, but she might be the luckier of the two" lol

(disclaimer: she was just absolutely kidding about stealing me, she didn't mean that, she was just being playful and joking about it, not only she actually was not that kind of person, she didn't really have an interest like that on me, lol... no other but the genuine intrigue of me never really approaching her like every other guy and some girls did)

It's always been my eyes. I have been complimented about them throughout my life and still do on a regular basis. My wife actually fell in love with me because of them and of course other things. Though I've had tons of compliments about them, I still appreciate it every time.

As I was about to leave an engineering firm after 3 years working on their project, my project manager said that I was the most professional engineer he had ever worked with. I was humbled. I do try to do the right thing and act professionally, but I never considered it was anything special.
