I'm cat sitting for my sister this weekend. It's not the first time but now I really wonder.
How do you, cat owners, deal with all the cat hair? Seriously? It's everywhere. Do you have to do a deep cleaning everyday?

oh um... i've never even thought about it. i've had cats since i was right out of the womb lol. just get a lint roller. you'll learn to have about 5 lint rollers around the house and even in your car. just a way of life. obviously you can't get all the cat fur off so you just either deal or at least get some off and go about your day.
Seems to just be how it is. Another sister of mine asked the cat-owning one how she deals with it, not too long ago and she just shrugged and said ahe barely notices anymore.
Brush the cat to get rid of excess fur, and use lint rollers.
It's usually the litter being dragged through the house that is the most annoying.
We iust suffered trough it. We kept a lint brush in every car because you can put clean clothes on but cat would always get on you before you get out of the house
Cat brushes, cats shed when stressed too. So minimizing stress helps. Also during certain seasons they'll shed more. iirc long hair cats shed the most.

Never owned a cat so can't give advice regarding cats but I did own a dog whose fur would always come off him and be everywhere. Vaccuming everyday did kind of help but brushing the dog for 15 to 30 minutes a day helped even more with controlling the fur from getting everywhere
You haven't meant every dog on the planet to know some dogs out there shed more fur then cats
I’m allergic to it but I love my cat too much to give her up over a minor allergy. I thoroughly vacuum the house weekly, aswell as use a brush on my cat outside to get rid of stray fur that would otherwise get through the house. And when needed, I take anti-histamines.
I have three cats, two Calico’s, and a long hair Siamese. The Siamese cat is the major shedder. He loves to just leave his damn hair everywhere he goes. Usually brushing the cats for a couple minutes with a good brush once a day, typically stops/reduces the shedding a lot.
I don’t have cats but my sister does and they shed a lot. But slicker brushes help it, and having little brush pads attached to door frames. Cats aren’t much worse than dogs (breed depending of course) as far as shedding goes though. And I have dogs. I also have a roomba that makes daily runs to help maintain the fluff. That coupled with daily brushing keeps the hair pretty minimal.
We had a Mainecoon. We brushed him and I kept a lint roller on hand and gave my clothes a once over with it before I left the house.
Yup. Regular brushing with a decent brush helps a great deal. But cleaning is part of the process. Love outweighs the efforts.
You have to train them not to shed, I've also had limited successes breaking natural instincts and teaching them to go with a color friendly garment . like having white cats sleep on white coats, black cats on black things🤔
I just vacuum and Im getting a carpet cleaner. I'm also going to take my cat to groomers and have her get deep grooming and her fur low-cut. She's indoor cat so she should be fine. I bush her out but it just never seems enough unfortunately.
I used to give them a good combing on a regular basis. It seemed to cut down on all the hair.
It's not really a problem, we just vacuum every week or so. My wife's hair is more prolific than our cats (my wife is mostly Italian and has long, thick, curly hair).
We use lint rollers and vacuum daily. Its not hard.. But it can be inconvenient. I've had cats my entire life. my first cat was gotten for me before i was born believe it or not.
Love is a thing that makes taking the bad with the good very easy.
Lint rollers. I mostly wear black all of the time and my orange cat sheds soooo much. Nothing I can do about it except lint roll and brush him.
you just get used to it or you vaccuum every single day xD also there's brushes or sticky rolls for hair on your clothes before you leave the house.
Robotic vacuum cleaner, dust roller for the cloths and rooms where the cat is not allowed to be in.
I have an indoor short hair brown tabby. She doesn't get hair everywhere. Or at least she hasn't yet.
Vacuum the floor regularly. An automated/robot vacuum helps.
You accept that it's part of the cat which you love very very much..
I pet the cat too often for it to be everywhere, gets on clothing and couches mostly.
Your cat owner obvi doesn’t brush the excess fur or probably bathe her cat…
We cope. Like Giga Chads. I don’t mind having their fur on me. That’s just them telling other girls “stay away” Omega LooL
Get a pro team vac. Vacs hair off anything. Using a brush mit every few days helps a bit too
I comb my cat a few times a week, and I also use a hand vacuum on the furniture, as well as a regular vacuum..
Dust sucking little bit. Not interested in bread or anything else.
My mom has our house cleaned once a week.
Just use a comb weekly-ish in the spring.
We just vacuum a lot and brush them.
Lint roller n vacuum
Shave it
