I will admit to having a shoe addiction. I have to buy every shoe i love and really am protective of them.

Books collection, I know you don't wanna read novels more than one time but I really love collecting novels, for now I have only 1 complete novel series and few story books (I read most of the books from library but I read almost all books there! They haven't updated since 5 years!). I wanna buy few stand alone ones too but my parents are like 'just read the school books instead, that will be more beneficial'. They don't understand that addiction of novels and the smell of new books! I really want few hardcover version because they are pretty lovely but expensive too. I have all paperback versions till now.

Definitely a food addiction. A shopping addiction. I still manage to pay my bills and save money, so I feel it isn’t so bad I need help or out of control, but it’s something I fight with. I’ve had $20 before and instead of saving it for gas or food, I’ll see what I can buy for under $20. I’m trying to get better about it. I do try to always have weed to smoke, but I can and have gone without buying it if I don’t have the money or the money needs to go somewhere else.

Not anymore.
It’s hard to explain but I used to be addicted to women XD specifically romantic partners. It was a time In my life where I’d jump from partner to partner at an incredible rate. At first I didn’t notice what was going on but then just out of the blue I was like “wow I don’t know how many girlfriends I’ve had and I’m not even 19 yet… jeez I’m a horrible person” so I just quit the dating scene entirely.

Thing is I just thought I was falling in love but I know better now.

I’m 21 now but I still have had more romantic partners then years alive.

God you and my wife would get along famously. She must have (no exaggeration) over 100 pairs. and she keeps buying more. Thankfully she doesn't use my money to do it, i would put a stop to it.

Mine would be food. I am not the eat to live guy, i am the live to eat guy. Mostly because i am a phenomenal cook. Its been my worst enemy. Its why at one point i was nearly 400 pounds. I worked my ass off to get down to 220..

Video games and books. I wouldn’t call it a bad addiction well the gaming one isn’t. I don’t buy many, I don’t need the newest everything (although I do need a new tv and that’s greatly hindering my ability to play) the book one though that’s bad lol, the amount of books I’ve purchased recently and added to my ever growing TBR list I’m going to need a new bookshelf or two to accommodate.

I would say we all have something. I like briefcases and old camera lenses.

But what we need to be wary of if we're actually addicted to spending or shopping? Our society pushes us toward it every commerical break, and it gives us a serotonin rush when we do.
