I learned on this thread from @dustybiker that many laundry detergents contain carcinogens! I then found online that Go Greenshield Organic Laundry Detergent, which you can buy in person at Walmart, is a good, safe option.

Sooo... i would say expensive health care for the USA. This was very tough because without one, you can't have the other. Sooo that's one thing, I think. :)

I’ve often contemplated free public healthcare and sat aside looking at Canada thinking “if they can do it, so can we”, but I wonder how much more we would be taxed and whether it would actually be more expensive in the long run. It’s hard to know and I certainly don’t have the answer

Gain (and the like) laundry detergent. They already know and it’s proven to cause pancreatic cancer (among a number of others) but it’s still approved for sale. 💰

I first found out (or what started my search) when we added a screen door to our front door, end of summer ‘08. The neighbors laundry exhaust is near our front yard. That night was the first time our home was filled with their exhaust fumes. I had a severe allergic reaction that sent me to the ER (burning on my tongue, base of neck and then blindness for four hours). It took a year (and opening that door first time next season - repeat) to figure out the trigger.
