A bullwhip, used properly, doesn't actually TOUCH what it lashes; you crack it above the animal you're trying to persuade to move. Getting hit by an object moving faster than the speed of sound can do horrendous damage; one moving that fast with that small a surface area can and has killed people. Getting hit in the face pretty much guarantees nasty scars, at BEST.

Wild boars are so damn dangerous that in Texas, in season, it's legal to hunt them with helicopter-mounted miniguns; unless the "bat" in question is actually some kind of armed robotic vehicle, that WOULD get you killed.

The leaves wouldn't kill you; they'd just make you WANT to die.

That just leaves the fish; given the size of a typical fryer and the fact that they rarely go above 375 degrees, it's by far the best option. If you can harness the Leidenfrost effect, it's almost SAFE.

What does it mean to fight 4 wild boars? Like I have to dispatch them with a bat? Is that a possibility? I’m pretty sure it takes like special slug rounds to even hurt them.

The gympie-gympie tree is essentially Australia's answer the the bullet ant. If you're not familiar with that insect, just know that the name doesn't come from its size or shape, but because being stung by one is supposedly as painful as being shot.
