Artistically? A piano. Not only can it look beautiful, but you can create beautiful music with it.
At work (I used to administer vaccines at a Covid vaccination centre)? I was chilling near my station when an older female patient showed up requesting for the vaccinator with the surname "彭" (thats me by the way). Turns out I was the one who administered her first dose (Pfizer), and she's afraid of pain associated with needles 😂😂. She proceeded to hand me a drink she bought for me earlier. The joy on her face made my day.
I also worked at a CASIO store selling watches when I was 16, and one day my (ex) girlfriend was nearby, and we agreed that she would pop by and wave hello. Seeing her made my day.
At home? My parents' love for each other. Mom loves to do acts of service for dad, and dad tries to make her comfortable as much as possible. The quality of their relationship is something I want to experience in the future.
Also, my mom's cooking! Need I say more?
At school? My crush (I was 17 going on 18). She was the happiest, kindest, most positive and most thoughtful girl I had met in a long time. She did not have feelings for me (to be fair I was really childish), but what stood out to me was how supportive she was, even as a friend. She has a boyfriend now. Good for him!
There are beautiful things in life after all. We just need to take time to appreciate them, and these beautiful things, people and memories can motivate us to keep on chugging during bad days.
As for the most beautiful thing (person) on G@G? You! 😆😆10 Reply

+1 yThat's a question I cannot answer. Taking the word "thing" in its most extensive significance, I have seen and witnessed so many beautiful things: landscapes, reactions of people in particular circumstances, animals big and small, scenes in some movies, sunsets, mountains, trees, a Madona by Michelangelo, a painting by Van Gogh, etc. All these beautiful "things" counter balance all the ugly things I've seen and witnessed.
Just a small example. One day my wife and I tried to visit my very old aunt. She aswered through the door immediately but asked to come back in an hour. When we came back we understood something was wrong because she said exactly the same words. Luckyly her doctor walked past the house and we asked him for advice. I entered the house through the backdoor after having asked the neighbours the permission to cross their garden.
My aunt had lost all sense of reality and at least 50% of her wits. She had been crawling on the ground during nearly a full week. She had fallen in the staircase at night and could not stand anymore. She survived thanks to a bottle of softdrink luckily in a cupboard near the floor. In the ambulance driving her to the hospital I took her hand, and then I saw appear on her face the most beautiful smile of happiness I ever saw in whole my life. This only happened once, and that smile still haunts me.

+1 yWatching a formerly, heavily abused horse release his fear, dip his head, and move toward me to take some offered watermelon in my extended hand. He never had a problem with me again.
Shocked the hell out of his new owners.Something I won’t ever forget. I think I was only 14-16 at the time.

+1 yThere are many things, but the first thing that came to my mind was a happy family. A smiling and laughing mother, father and child having the time of their lives.
I look back on those moments and can't help but smile, I am already smiling just writing this. Beautiful thing, it really is.21 Reply

+1 yYears ago, a friend and I visited his dad in a hospital. It was his dad's final days as he was dying of cancer. When we got there, the nurses had his dad sitting up in a chair but his dad wanted to lay back in bed. We got tired of waiting for the nurses to help him, so my friend, picked his dad up and carried him to his bed and laid him in it. I couldn't help but think how thirty years prior to that moment, it was my friend's dad that carried his son to bed and gently laid him in it. It was a very beautiful and touching moment.

I'll need to give this question some consideration.
If you happen to see a puff of smoke rising in the distance, I will have given the subject too much consideration...

there are a few people in my life that I do hold dear and close to me, and I am one to show up inadvertently many times, so... seeing that familiar smile on them always gives me the most beautiful feelings every time, and it is a reflection as well, we both see the shared joy00 Reply
