How often are you serious vs joking around day to day?

It is more of a contextual question. I usually find that whether I lean more towards a jovial attitude, or whether I lean towards a more serious demeanor totally depends on where I am, and whom I am with. Usually when I’m with friends IRL, I lean towards a more jovial demeanor because I know them, I trust them, and I feel safe around them, so I am able to more easily relax and let my guard down. And wild I can be very jovial online, I do tend to lean more serious b/c I do not know most of the people I speak with. So I find it more difficult to let my guard down. Even in DM, I can usually tell when I’m speaking to a male regardless of the color of their account, but because I was once tricked for some time, now, even when I am 99% certain that I’m speaking to a woman, I cannot fully relax b/c there is always that chance that I’m merely speaking with an older married man who has a very good grasp on what it means to be female, and what many of those experiences are, because he’s learned it from living most of his life with a woman who shares those details of her life with him.

I'm a serious person but I joke pretty much about everything and all nearly all the time... like someone could get attacked in front of me and I would make a stupid ass joke, while calling police and making sure to get help lol

Both. I'm very serious when I need to be and then lighthearted a lot of the other time. I inject humor into situations to keep it light. Not clownish or locker room but just light so that folks are at ease.

And, of course, dad jokes for the kids because that's required.
