What epiphanys have you had in your life so far?

An epiphany is a usually sudden manifestation or perception of the essential nature or meaning of something.

There is no such thing as a "dream job". I have vigorously pursued and achieved several "dream" jobs only to learn it is still "work" with a lot of bullshit and stress. The result for me was to find a job I at least like and put more effort into my non-work life.

I don't think I ever had an epiphany. Everything I have learned in my life has been the hard way.

I’ve had way too many. I don’t remember all of them.

I have around 1,700 notes and maybe 160 posts on Instagram dedicated just for my epiphanies.

Give or take a few.

Not all of them are great. Some of them are really profound.

I’ve had some respective epiphanies about religion as well. Specifically Christianity, and the Bible. Those were fun.

Like how God destroyed the Tower of Babel, but we have airplanes today and spaceships which have reached the second heaven. That minor realization was very fun and interesting.

I let that one stand as it stands.

Big Epiphany: that sometimes people just let you down. They may not mean to, they mean not intend to, but they do.

Even Bigger Epiphany: you can't let that stop you from forming relationships and trusting people.

Here's one I just recently had. Customer service of any kind is going to be flawed because of human nature. Hence why a lot of restaurants and retail are going to automation and online only.
