Are the moderators and administrators of the site objective in their decisions?

I think most try to be but they are only human after all. It seems to me that they do their best, the ones I know of anyway.

Yes. There are written site rules and Moderators have to abide by them, just as any user does. If we hide too many posts that are ok, just on a whim, we stand to lose our Moderator status.
