I wasn't THAT good of a costume creator, so it was more like this lol.

My aunt lent me her purple dress lol, but since it didn't LOOK like a Megara costume off the bat, I had to tell everyone what I truly was (or intended to be)! Lol, that was fun.

I didn't wear a costume that year. In fact, I didn't wear a costume after the trauma of 5th grade. My mom made me go as Julio Iglesias and it never occurred to me at the age of 10 to tell her no. :( I never wore a Halloween costume again.

A witch. I liked to wear scary costumes when I was a teen. The costumes you have up are like dress up I have for roll play with my husband. Especially the Dorthy costume, he likes that.

By then i had stopped dressing up. In previous years i was a ballerina, an eskimo, the poodle skirt thingy, a pink fairy princess, a cat, And i forgot what else

Aww I see. I think that was the last year for me, or second to last year, not sure. I think it's still cool to dress up even though one is already in junior high. Children these days want to grow up too fast!

Unfortunately, Halloween costumes have become a skank fest for girls. I remember when Halloween was "fun" and not just about showing skin.

Well I don't think the men would have enjoyed the alternative anyway lol. If that was the case, the "skank" party would have died LONG AGO lol. It's just gotten WORSE since haha. It's not classy anymore but trashy!

Why did they stop so early at your school? Didn't they want the teenagers to have fun too? ! NO ONE can really be "too old" for Halloween!

I don't know what the reason was, but the schools my kids went to only allow kindergarten students to dress up and have their little parade.

When I was a kid the teacher's whole purpose in life was to make us miserable. There was no such thing as dress upc day. Neither was there pajama day, backwards day or hat day. We had no field trips or half days.

I don't even remember Halloween at 13. I had just experienced 9/11 so, I was a little beleaguered by that. Chances are, I didn't even go as anything anyway
