It's the fresh start to a new year

I don't like anything about January actually

I like the END of January, because that is when the really cold weather goes away, and worse still the 75º days and 50º nights! I had to buy a nest™ just so my house could automatically turn my heater on at night, and switch to my A/C during the day… Just because of friggin January weather in Florida!

It’s a fresh start to the year, and schools don’t start back up until the start of February, so my neighbours don’t have to wake me up at the crack of dawn getting their kids ready for school 😂 I get a whole month of sleep ins!

It's a busy time as a gold buyer as everyone clears out the old stuff they had replaced as gifts over Christmas as well as the credit card bills landing so people clear them via getting gold out, the bump in prices has made for a bumper start to the year

I like the winter months, a chance to get out on snowmobile, go skiing, ice fishing, snowshoeing, splitting wood, or grabbing a blanket and sitting in my chair by the fire, having a rum. Maybe head out to the back deck and have cuban once in awhile.
