I'm Peruvian but also have European blood, are your surprised?

As you can see, I'm not that white but have a lighter tone. Depending on the climate (super sunny with the sun hitting on me vs super cold or if I were living somewhere it snows) I can turn from whiter than usual to darker:

I'm a Peruvian woman with both Indigenous and European blood. A couple years ago, my mother (she's white Peruvian) revealed her paternal grandfather was a tall, European man with both blonde hair and bluish eyes. My mother was his only grandchild that got his skin color. Mom's maternal grandmother (my great-grandma) was white and had red hair when young. My mother had reddish hair as a baby and during her childhood years.

On my father's side of the father:

Meanwhile my father and his siblings are browned skin, both his father (my grandfather) and grandfather (my great-grandfather) were white men with some recessive genes too. They had European ancestors. Overall, most of the whites in my family were taller than the indigenous members. That's likely the reason I'm 5'7, which is taller than the average Peruvian woman.

I'm a carrier of the red hair gene. Are you surprised I'm a mix, that I also shared European blood?
