I wish I could choose a set of superpowers that I could wield
To make my life more exciting and epic tales to be revealed
I'd choose the power of flight and be able to soar through the sky
And never be hindered by pesky things like traffic or high prices to buy

To be able to jump great heights and never fear the fall
Would be an ability I'd love to have, so that I could have a ball
Another superpower I'd select is the power of telekinesis
To move objects with my mind and make them do whatever I please

I'd want the power to read minds and know what others are thinking
So that I can know the truth no matter what lies they're spinning
To be able to heal my wounds and never have to feel the pain
Would be a power I'd choose to have, to be injury free and sane

To be able to time travel and go to places near and far
Would be a superpower that I'd select, no matter how bizarre
Also I'd choose the power to control fire and never get burned
And have the ability to use it to my advantage and never be spurned

The last superpower I'd choose would be to become invisible
