My personal thoughts on sport cars. As a kid they where amazing, give me a Diablo right now. But as an adult that idea of them changed. Other then they look interesting and are super fun to drive then there is to many downsides. Unless you live close to a race track and you drive there often, then what is the point with them? From an average stand point they are super expensive, but your not paying for quality, you are paying for something that can go fast and the price of design. Because i have been in quite a few of them over the years and there is basically almost nothing at all that is practical with them. After they make the engine and the technology that goes with it, and the look of it, after that it feels like they just don't give a shit about the rest. The interior is almost always crap, the practical stuff don't exist. You almost always can only fit 2 people in them, even if it on papir has 4 seats... Well good luck fitting a normal person on them 2 extra seats. But fine, let's imagine you still get one. They are over priced, they cost to much just to own one, cost of road taxes, insurance, the fuel and maintaining them is costly. If you break something they can't go to any random workshop, they need to go to a certified one that cost more then normal and can be fare and wide between , often there is a wait list. Not only does the repairs cost more for literally some sort of work as a normal cars, but the parts cost way more and often needs to be ordered, so fixing these takes lots of money and lots of time. Ok so that's out of the way, what about driving them out in the real world? Well good luck getting over speed bumps or a steep hill whit a sharp incline without damaging the car. Forget about driving when there is snow or rain. The only sport car that i know of that is practical is a Porsche, and the price is ok, but still.
