Is it normal to go out of your league to have kids with great genes?

I'm just a 6-7 out of 10. I know this. Even when I was in my late teen years and ages 20-22 I was given that rate too. Some white Cuban lady once called me "squaw" at my workplace. She said "you may have fair skin but you can't run away from your roots, squaw". I didn't reply back. I did nothing.

Unlike my dad, she was pretty back in her days. She got with my dad, a tan skinned latino. That's why I'm just average.

If I get with a 5-7 man or much shorter man, my kids are going to be average or mediocre and shorter. I want to have kids with the best genes, for them to be beautiful like mom. Is it normal to go out of my league?

Even when I was a kid and teen, my own mother told me herself to be more selective, to only go for the best, that way she'll have beautiful grandchildren.

You're saying you want to be with someone better than you to improve your kids genes (stupid reason to look for in a partner by the way)... so what, does that mean that the guy needs to lower his kids genes for you since he could do at least as good as himself and have better looking kids? Quite selfish thought from you.

But in any way, that's not how genes work. Are you concerned about the genes? Don't look for appearances, look for obesity, respiratory issues, whatever.

What you are saying is not normal. There is nothing to back that up. We are not living in pre historic times. Besides doesn't that cut both ways. The older you become the less likely you will have healthy kids. And the less hourglass you are the less likely you are to have a straight forward birth without complications.

You should not be looking to have kids based upon how attractive they are. there is also nothing wrong with having kids with learning disabilities either. This also sounds very childish as well. And beyond shallow

This isn't really about me anymore. I don't want my kids to be bullied or discriminated. I want a good life for them. If my kids excel me in everything, even better. If there is something I hate the most about myself is my curls. I have bad hair meanwhile mom doesn't.

You are part of the problem. So you have proved my point. You have bad hair but your mum doesn't. What makes you think your kids will have better hair. It is more you trying to justify going for guys based off looks. What about the fact that the longer women put of having kids the more likely they will have health problems.

Have you thought of that. So men who want healthy kids should avoid you and go for younger.

just because you have kids with a good looking guy, it doesn't necessarily mean that your kid will come out good looking. I have seen very average looking kids come out of very good looking mothers.

And as for intelligence, I'm gonna tell you that it PAYS to be born to brilliant parents. Brilliant people can do absolutely anything they want in life. There are many things that normal average people can't do that brilliant people can do.

It does seem to me that the lower women are on the looks scale, the higher they tend to shoot with men. I'll also see that those women also end up alone because, not surprisingly, the men that they want do not want them.

We feel bad about ourselves that going for low is settling. I hate the idea of having mediocre children. I want tall, strong, beautiful children. If I had a daughter it would be great if she grew to 5'8, my mom is that height.

Yet my mother went below her league in everything, even in money. Mom was already wealthy when they met (plus very pretty) while dad had to work hard and climbed up, caught up to her financially years later. So she's a rare case I guess.
It would be great to have healthy, tall, fit and beautiful children, that excel me in everything. This isn't about me anymore but about have kids mixed with great genes, that compensates for my average genes

It is. Just love alone is only thinking with your organs and stupid ''butterflies in your stomach'' (too much idealizing someone that's not even that great) instead of using your brains and think about how the children will turn out.
I believe this natural behavior even goes all the way back to prehistorical times. The early female humans would mate with men with the best genes to produce healthy, strong offsprings. So basically everything actually has an explanation.
