Do you have a timeshare? If yes, do you enjoy it?

My mom has Wyndham and the sales people lie more than they can chew. My husband and Marriott and it not too bad but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

My parents had one but a few years ago they got rid of it. They are glad they did. We could never use it like they sold us one it to begin with. We paid for one in New Orleans and was told that we could use any of the other properties they owned and could book at anytime. That was a lie and finally my parents got rid of it.

Glad they were able to get out of it. Was it Wyndham? I know they have two Wyndhams in New Orleans and the sellers will hit people up off the street. They tried to get me in New Orleans and I laughed and said that’s the last thing I’d ever do.

I don't remember but the company sent my parents a free 3 days and 2 nights package in South Carolina. When we checked in, they told us we had to listen to a presentation with no obligation to buy. It was there that they tried and seceded is selling my parents the timeshare in New Orleans. They hit everyone up for the timeshare closet to where they were from. Pay for that one and use any of the ones they on.

That’s what happened with my mom except for a free vacay in Destin and she bought one in Sedona

A company bought out the timeshare people and offered my parents the option to continue or get rid of it. They got rid of it but lost money overall. They were glad to get out from under it.

My friends and I share a place down in Grenada in the Caribbean. We bought it several years ago, it was an old hotel that we renovated. I was there in December during Christmas break. Once I retire it will be my home away from home.
