I like hitting the road, whether it be with someone or by myself. I often come home, have nothing brewing on a weekend and will hit the road. Drive 3-6 hours and stay the weekend.
The most recent alone trip I did that I loved, was heading to Quebec City last summer and spending a few days sea kayaking in the Saint Lawrence River, looking for Beluga whales. I would get up around 4 AM and head a few hours north and spend the day paddling the shores of Bay-St.- Catherine.
I stayed in Old Quebec City, did some shopping, exploring, etc. I was able to get some Christmas presents while I was there for everyone.

I much prefer a trip by car to flying to a destination.
The best trip for itinerary was a 30 day trip from home in northeast Florida to Atlanta, then Birmingham, then Texas, then Arizona and the Grand Canyon, then back through northern New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, then back home. . . but it was wth the wrong person.
My fiancée and I have only taken one road trip and that was to the mountains of north Georgia between Christmas and New Years Eve 2022. I look forward to many more car trips with her!
For long haul road trips, we take RVs for those.
To me, the journey is just as enjoyable as the destination.
We've done North American coast-to-coast, transcontinental RV tours which were a lot of fun, especially when we were traveling with a bunch of adventurous friends.
I don't like them, but they are necessary to get to the spot, so yeah🤷🏾♀️

Absolutely. I can be comfortable in my own car, I can play my music, adjust my climate controls, I can stop where and when I want to, etc. Usually we're all singing along, with drink and snacks, and having a great time.
The trade-off is that road trips take more time, especially if the distances are longer, so if you've only got a week to go across the country and back (in the US, anyway), that won't work. But we have every type of climate and geography here in California, so I'm 4-6 hours, at most, from nearly any kind of environment I'd care to be in. That's great road-trip distance.
I used to love road trips with my family when I was a kid and, later, when I started driving.
These days, they can be boring because you are mostly on freeways where there isn't much to see. So I'm more interested in the destinations and planned stops along the way than the driving.I actually haven’t been on many cool road trips other than a 13 hour drive to get my puppy from the breeder lol
Yes. My favorite part is the journey. It’s so amazing to be able to enjoy a trip with friends or an SO. The seeing new places, new sights, new everything. Or if I’ve been there before the memories or the good old times we had at the particular places.
I've had a grip of em. Been all over the US besides the pacific northwest because it's boring. My last trip back from New York sucked. new jersey and pennsylvania charged me almost 200 bucks for tolls!

Hell yea! Rock classics music and oldies hits on, having fun, sight seeing, pee breaks, seeing something never thought about. I just did a road trip friday-saturday and went to see a car show 👌 tons of fun.
I love road trips I got back and forth from NY to SC and NC all the time
I haven't been on many road trips, and the last one was many years ago. When I was 10, my family went on a road trip, covering Montreal, Boston and New York City, with several stops in between.
Yes, Exitseven likes road trips. Once I drove to Florida in my friend's pickup truck. We had 3 in the front and 3 in the back,. We drove non stop 1500 miles.
Yes absolutely! I love driving everywhere. I plan to travel to see the total solar eclipse in 2024.
Yup been up and down both coasts and across the country on the road. Seeing the different landscape is neat abs having good company in the car makes it better.
Never really gone on one. Since road trips are generally defined as being a long car ride, where there's no actual destination. I've always had some place I was going, so, I've never actually taken a road trip

All depends on who you're with. But just bc you get along with ev1, doesn't mean you or they won't get on someone's nerves.
