Are you a fan of road trips?

I like hitting the road, whether it be with someone or by myself. I often come home, have nothing brewing on a weekend and will hit the road. Drive 3-6 hours and stay the weekend.
The most recent alone trip I did that I loved, was heading to Quebec City last summer and spending a few days sea kayaking in the Saint Lawrence River, looking for Beluga whales. I would get up around 4 AM and head a few hours north and spend the day paddling the shores of Bay-St.- Catherine.
I stayed in Old Quebec City, did some shopping, exploring, etc. I was able to get some Christmas presents while I was there for everyone.
I much prefer a trip by car to flying to a destination.
The best trip for itinerary was a 30 day trip from home in northeast Florida to Atlanta, then Birmingham, then Texas, then Arizona and the Grand Canyon, then back through northern New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, then back home. . . but it was wth the wrong person.
My fiancée and I have only taken one road trip and that was to the mountains of north Georgia between Christmas and New Years Eve 2022. I look forward to many more car trips with her!
Thanks for MHO!
For long haul road trips, we take RVs for those.
To me, the journey is just as enjoyable as the destination.
We've done North American coast-to-coast, transcontinental RV tours which were a lot of fun, especially when we were traveling with a bunch of adventurous friends.
I don't like them, but they are necessary to get to the spot, so yeah🤷🏾♀️

Absolutely. I can be comfortable in my own car, I can play my music, adjust my climate controls, I can stop where and when I want to, etc. Usually we're all singing along, with drink and snacks, and having a great time.
The trade-off is that road trips take more time, especially if the distances are longer, so if you've only got a week to go across the country and back (in the US, anyway), that won't work. But we have every type of climate and geography here in California, so I'm 4-6 hours, at most, from nearly any kind of environment I'd care to be in. That's great road-trip distance.
I used to love road trips with my family when I was a kid and, later, when I started driving.
These days, they can be boring because you are mostly on freeways where there isn't much to see. So I'm more interested in the destinations and planned stops along the way than the driving.
I actually haven’t been on many cool road trips other than a 13 hour drive to get my puppy from the breeder lol
So let's do a road trip. Where we going?
Let's go
Yes. My favorite part is the journey. It’s so amazing to be able to enjoy a trip with friends or an SO. The seeing new places, new sights, new everything. Or if I’ve been there before the memories or the good old times we had at the particular places.
I've had a grip of em. Been all over the US besides the pacific northwest because it's boring. My last trip back from New York sucked. new jersey and pennsylvania charged me almost 200 bucks for tolls!

I love road trips I got back and forth from NY to SC and NC all the time
Are you a fan of road trips
I'm fine with them. I just got off of a 10 hour road trip a few days ago. It was a long one to say the least lol
Where did you go and did you have fun there
Went to Florida and I had a blast.
Good I'm glad you had fun ☺️
Hell yea! Rock classics music and oldies hits on, having fun, sight seeing, pee breaks, seeing something never thought about. I just did a road trip friday-saturday and went to see a car show 👌 tons of fun.
Yes absolutely! I love driving everywhere. I plan to travel to see the total solar eclipse in 2024.
I haven't been on many road trips, and the last one was many years ago. When I was 10, my family went on a road trip, covering Montreal, Boston and New York City, with several stops in between.
Yes, Exitseven likes road trips. Once I drove to Florida in my friend's pickup truck. We had 3 in the front and 3 in the back,. We drove non stop 1500 miles.
Yup been up and down both coasts and across the country on the road. Seeing the different landscape is neat abs having good company in the car makes it better.
Heck yeah, my bags are always packed and ready to go!
Never really gone on one. Since road trips are generally defined as being a long car ride, where there's no actual destination. I've always had some place I was going, so, I've never actually taken a road trip
Yes! I have a goal to drive to all 49 states that you can drive to since you can’t drive to Hawaii! Right now, I’ve made it to 26/49
Any Kind of Traveling. xxoo
absolutely... in great company or by myself, my favorite kind of driving
I'm sure they're fun, but I haven't been on many of them.
I Love Road Trips! Especially if the car doesn’t fail.
Yes ! but we need perfect music list!
Country roaaadsss take me homeeeee!
Yes I love it driving to cities, seeing other people on the road, looking at cars.
No, I don't like sitting in a car for that long.
All depends on who you're with. But just bc you get along with ev1, doesn't mean you or they won't get on someone's nerves.
Road trips are so fun. The last one I took was to West Virginia just on a whim to see what it was like.
spent a month touring the west on my motorcycle, it was grreat.
Growing up, we used to drive to California every year as a family.
Yes. But don't want to be in a coach all squish in. Rather be in a mobile home instead so can stretch my legs out 😏
I do road trips quite often two weeks ago I just drove to Florida and Georgia and back to New York.
I personally love them. I can do them by myself but not for too long. 4 hours max. But when I have other people, i could drive forever.
Yes, I love road trips. I will be going on one at the end of May.
Yes. Love em. Especially if it's a great place I'm heading to.
yeah as long as we stop often to stretch our legs and see stuff along the way i do.
I love road trips. Especially with the right person (s)
I've never experienced a road trip, but I would imagine this would be fun with the boys
Sometimes they can be fun, seeing things you didn't think you'd ever see. But for me it is more about the destination than the journey.
Yeah. As equally as the return home. Because while it's fun to get away. You forget how much you miss home till you return.
I am indeed. No particular favorite at the moment
I love road trips a lot if the weather is good for it.
@mandyfire98 Sometimes I am, it does improve with good company and some Road Head as well.
My best roadtrip was meeting a girlfriend on a bridge.
