As an atheist, I think gender comes from birth. I don't see trans women as women, which is something that makes trans women angry.

Gender is a social structure.

Gender isn't a static phenomenon, it has changed throughout history, is still changing and far from being universal. What role people think they fit - if it be a trans woman or a trans man, doesn't bother me the slightest. But I must admit that I find it a bit funny how people mostly care about trans women but completely ignore trans men. Probably because men can't phantom why a man would want to be the weaker sex - it's a treason towards masculinity.

Trans men (girls who think they are men) are not a threat to men, whether in bathrooms, locker rooms or in competitive sports. No guy would feel threatened if a small guy with a beard disrobed and wound up having a pussy. No "trans"man would out compete men in athletics to take away trophies or scholarships. And "trans" men tend to be low key. They don't broadcast their chosen gender.

"Trans" women, however, are a serious threat to women. Women feel seriously threatened by a large woman with a cock and balls checking them out in locker rooms.
They are degrading the accomplishments of women who have worked hard to achieve athletic excellence, and they are stealing college scholarships from women. They are setting back the advancements that women have achieved under Title IX.

The radical trans movement is actually a war against women. Mothers are supposed to be called "birthing parents" as if men can also have babies.
Instead of observing the obvious, they want people to declare their "preferred" pronouns and want it to be a hate crime to refer to a "trannie" incorrectly.

Heterosexuals are referred to as "cis"gender. Not referring to women as women is an insult to women.

Sex is biological and determined at the time of conception.

Gender is a term that was synonymous with sex for hundreds of years. It wasn't considered by anyone to be a "social construct" until very recently when a small segment of society decided to hijack it and change its meaning to support their agenda.
