Do you like being called by nicknames?

I really like it when someone calls me by my full name, there is this feeling of butterflies inside when someone does that. But I like it more when someone calls me by nick names in good way, not in a mocking tone, it makes me feel pampered and cared for especially if it's someone elder than me who cares for me. Nicknames like 'Young Lady' 'Girl' 'Darling' 'Dear' and many such makes me feel like that person cares for me. Apparantly, funky names like 'Bunbun' which is usually called by my close friends is also makes me feel good and comfortable but only when it's someone close! I don't appreciate a stranger calling me informal names.

Only if I'm good friends with someone. I don't like when someone who's friends with my friends just met me and started calling me by nickname or start calling me that from the next day. I only like it when someone I have a soft corner for or I'm close friends with do that. Not acquaintance types of friends.

Exactly and so were some of my housemates who started calling me nicknames and even pet names from the next day, lol. It's annoying.

Definitely depends on who its from. if its a random stranger i wouldn't know how to respond to it lol. someone im crushing on yeah id like it usually ;)

The answer is No. I always call people by their actual name and so I appreciate it if people do the same.

I forgot to say, online yes if I know the other well then I may use the word " Dear" to address that person but not in real life.

I prefer being called by my full name, Abdullah/Avdiel, but John, Albert, Elvis, and Bruce have been my nicknames for inside jokes, so I’d be aight being called so.
