Licensed drivers, do you ever practice driving anyway?

To hone your driving sills, do you ever take it upon yourself to just practice, even though you passed and are licensed?

I used to live in Northeast US, and often practiced driving in snow in winter by doing donuts in empty snow-and-ice-covered parking lots. Now that I live in the South, where drivers are crazy, I stay off the roads as often as I can.

I drive all day long for a living, I think I get plenty of practice and still take a defensive driving course every 3 years for insurance discounts

Every day I go out driving it's a practice. You never know what challenges you will face on the roads
