Why do you come here?

I first came here out of curiosity. No clue what I'd find.

I then found some fun people and some funny questions and interesting questions. Came for that.

Then made friends. Came for that and to try to help the people I could and still have some fun in other areas.

Have changed my habits after the site recently changed but still here for some of the same reasons but way more judicious about it.

I originally came here almost three years ago on a whim, probably hoping to find a quick sexual encounter.

What I found was not what I expected.

There are people here looking to just have a bit of fun, explore new ideas, and see what others think about things.

Then there are the trolls and those who think they know more about me than I do about myself.

I've made friends.

I've blocked a few individuals who wouldn't take "I will no longer engage with you" for an answer.

I've had many new ways of looking at things brought to my attention. Hopefully, I've contributed in my own way.

I've been away from G@G for five months now, returning a few days ago.

Loneliness was my reason for returning.

Since my return, I've already had cause to block someone who I at first thought was a deep-thinking young lady. I couldn't have been more wrong in my original estimation of her.

My purpose in being here?

Connection to fellow humans, entertainment, distraction from reality. The list could go on.

I do out of boredom like everyone else and how GAG is in many ways an escape, a fun light hearted escape. Not that I mind reality. Also like the other guy, I'm single and without a girlfriend or wife, so I like to come to the fun sections of GAG for amusement and giggles, not trolling, and contributing sensible answers where I can 👀☮️✌🏻 with groovy peace vibes and emojis 😋

Have fun, maybe give some halfway valuable advice here and there, and especially learn about the views, likes, and dislikes of other people. I am born and raised in Newport Beach and as the only child of two only children was left everything from two families so I have experienced life differently from those who grew up in quite dissimilar circumstances, in distant places, with large and/or blended families with stepparents, etc.
