Before the big bang, there was nothing. Not even time existed. We do not yet know what caused the bang. That set off an expanding universe, that is accelerating in expansion. We do know the ultimate fate of the universe. It has finite energy, so what there is, will become so diluted that temperatures will approach absolut zero. No life, no nothing. A cold and lonely place.

No place even for a god!

It is finite. Beyond the boundaries of the universe, there is nothing. Not even time. Just as it was before the big bang.

We have still got a lot to learn about dark matter and anti matter. We probably do not yet known all the particles that make up matter.

There are lots of theories about the universe. But I don't agree that there is something beyond the universe
