In 2013, 2003 felt like it was so long ago but in 2023, 2013 doesn't feel like that long ago. Am I the only one who feels this way?

So there’s a psychological theory that says as you get older you feel the years go by more quickly. Aging from 5-15 years old felt soooo long, but aging between 25-35 might not. And this is because when we’re children we’re new to the role and we’re constantly learning about our surroundings and picking up new skills. But as we get older life gets kind of repetitive. Also time is a relative concept…. scientifically time can be proven by the earth’s relationship with the sun but really if we were stuck in a dark cave with no watches or any kind of indicator for the time we would totally miscalculate everything.

It's more broken up by decades. Our 0s. Our teens. Our 20s. Our 30s. etc...
29 to 30 went by extremely fast for me. But once a new decade began, it started going slower. I heard that about learning and discovering stuff too, so I figured out I can make time go slower by traveling to new places

You're right though. It certainly feels like 2013 was just yesterday but back in 2013, 2003 seemed like a long time ago.
