I think that's a really clever idea. Me despite having a room expansion, i'm still gonna have a loft in it since it's a high ceiling room. I wanna make every space useable since I value space so much and having a loft would be very efficient.

I like them. They’re both cute and practical. And I’m sure they’re fun to sleep in too.
they make the most of your space and are functional, cool 👍

Lofts certainly look nice, but I had one when I was a sophomore in college It was not a fancy one like those pictured, but utilitarian in a one-room apartment. I remember how inconvenient it was. If I woke up to go to the bathroom, I often forgot I was up and fumbled or fell. A lot of bruises.
Bedrooms are best located with bathrooms on the same floor. Lofts LOOK great, but their practicality is poor. Walking up and down stairs or using a ladder to get to your bed OR bath is INcovenient. I've noticed a LOT of them in tiny houses. Ugh. No way,
I lived it as a KID. Even more annoying the older you get.
Ladder would be a hustle but stairs are fine. Convenience for my bed is not in my priority since there are just more things and hobbies to do now unlike before because i can turn my bottom part of the room into some sort of a personal playroom and office unlike the old times where you just watch TV with limited channel and play the juke box for entertainment.
Oh there are houses that has their restrooms away from their bedrooms so i dont see how a loft makes it any different. I live in a one storey hut after all.
Well maybe I'm just clumsy. As a young child I kept falling down the stairs even while holding onto the bannister. I hated the stairs. I love the one-floor life. If you're stuck and have no further way to expand and it suits you, go for it.
OMG, my dad built two lofts for my sister and me so we could fit inside one average room. Like we have the loft above our study tables and closet but it becomes really inconvenient in summers since it's so terribly hot here in my area and the cold air of AC won't reach till the high loft easily and since it's near ceiling and ceiling is mad hot it's so bad but other than that it's wonderful! It keeps us warm in winters! It saves space and definitely looks unique and cool.
I guess its due to how small your room is making it hotter on summer days. The smaller the room, the more humid it is.
Not really, it's not humid. It's straight away hot, we live in the 2nd floor of my bungalow (the topmost floor) and it's really hot because the ceiling is directly heated up by the sun and let me tell you that the temperature goes as high as 49° Celcius here so that's why this happens. Like every object inside room is warm and heated up, the tables and chairs and everything unless you turn on the AC for the whole day. And also wooden furnishing and interior is done and the wood soaks the warmth for really long.
Then that has something to do with living in the topmost floor. Probably you have a thin roof and ceiling. Another factor would be it's because there are 2 of you so it doubles the body warmth.
Yeah exactly, the ceiling is kind of thin in my room. But it feels fine to bring the mattress down on floor and sleep on it. at least the AC air keeps us cool there.
If you live in an efficiency apartment great. Plus it looks good.
I live in a hut but even if i have a big house and space, i would still use lofts.
By the pucs it looks pretty cool
