Is this app good?

This is my first time on this app because my friend showed me it. She didn’t really tell me much about it so I was curious.

It depends. Some things are good. A lot of the people are good. Then there are two million trolls and some real jerks (who probably think the same of me).

The messaging platform is stuck in the late 1970s and the site admins almost never (? never?) respond. They will never update with features that people want but are happy to introduce things no one wants or asked for.

Rules are applied unevenly or unfairly or not at all and depending on which way the tides are going it can change.

BUT...

... all that said, there are some laughs to be had and some fun people to meet from all over the world and the people I've talked with and laughed with FAAAAAAAR outweigh the crap.

Here's the thing: GaG is like real life in that there are jerks and bullies and stupid people and mean people and everyone in between. And then there are the few who make you smile. And that makes it worth it.

It can be but politics are ridiculous. Those conversations devolve into mudslinging and middle school namecalling quickly. You're a female so be prepared for lots of little boys whining about how much they hate women. Don't get drawn into sex conversations unless you want to get a bunch of messages from creepy people. Don't assume pink profiles are truly females.

It really depends on if you like a lot of sexual or political questions with a bunch of very opinionated people. It has its moments though.
