Is it possible to survive without friends?

no idea, i have moved across the country and haven't found 'my people' yet. its been four months but maybe if they have a game or country fair i could make friends.

i have friends from home to chat to. dont really relate to people here. no one wants to talk about investments, has funny stories or chat about shooting, tweed or horseracing

It's necessary, because you will never have real friends if you're dependent on others. If people feel you need them their attitude changes very often in negative direction.
