Why am I having a nightmare about being a vulnerable white man stuck in a black ghetto?

I have been having A LOT of nightmares lately. This most recent one tonight was incredibly scary. It was a layered nightmare. Nightmares within nightmares. I had a nightmare about being stuck in a ghetto full of wild blacks (using the nicer term) and unable to get a hold of my mom. Like my phone was dead or I was unable to dial the number.

I have really vivid nightmares. Often times it is an evil presence. A common theme is the inability to call for help.
