I’m dying to buy my own place, I’m sick and tired of living the apartment life!
However houses here in my state are extremely expensive. Now more than ever thanks to pedophile puppet Joe Biden raising inflations and property taxes.
It seems like by one of these houses is the best option anyone here has but how the fuck do they work?
Do you just order it and have it built anywhere?
Do you have to buy a property first?
How does water and electricity function?
Do you know anyone who owns/lives in a Boxabl home?
I would say that you need your own land. You pretty much have to put in the money and work for electricity, plumbing, etc. So at the end of the day, it won't cost anywhere near the small price that the small home will cost. And you will get bored fast living in a small house in the middle of nowhere. Unless you go live in an area that has small affordable houses.
True story. I went to this woman's house. The one i met on a hookup site/dating site Badoo. When i got there, it was a hilarious sight. Her house was in between two normal sized houses and it was minuscule! I did not think it was possible. To see a tiny home surrounded by normal ones. But i could see myself living in one only if it is really cheap.
I don't know anybody with them but I want to come visit if you get one. I think these things are awesome. @shesrad80 nailed it. Get more land than home. There's always stuff to watch/do outside at my place. I wouldn't live in the city if you gave me a house.
yeah you got space and need to expand (new kid?) you can always throw an addition on, but if you're smack up against a neighbor then there's the offset from the property line you can't build into (usually ten feet), whereas if you have a tiny house on 40 acres you can keep growing and still not have any punk neighbors to worry about.
Why don't you ask the people that build it or supply it? I think you probably would need a piece of property to put it on since it isn't going to float in midair. You also would need electrical and water hookups since you couldn't really do without those things. In the alternative to this, you may want to have a look at tiny houses, which might be a little more appropriate for your needs. Good luck finding some housing.
over here you gotta be the luckiest motherfucker alive to find a house below 100K, most houses here are 200-400K. but when you say bubble box do you mean what I'm able to afford at the moment?
right now I obviously can't be choosy. I'm single and planning on keeping it that way for a while so I can care less about size and luxury. I just want a nice decent house that's in good shape and in a fair neighborhood
same here. but he's been pretty inconsistent on that. at the moment Tesla dot com doesn't talk jack about that and there are even youtube videos on him claiming its a hoax. such as this one
