Like say you sleep next to someone for about 5 days a week for about an entire month. Usually 3-4 of these days you have nightmares. I mean terrible ones that leave you shook the next day. But the majority of the nightmares have nothing to do with this person while the occasional does have things going awry between you two. As for the days before you met them as well as the days you don’t sleep next to them, you have pretty peaceful dreams. Would you want to continue sleeping next to that person? #FeelFreeToList #DreamALittleDream
1.5K opinions shared on Other topic. I wouldn't stop sleeping next to them. It's just that I am not mentally sound. They maybe the reason for that, but still it's something I need to improve on myself. So I don't blame them.
I had been having frequent nightmares since March, usually about the same person or about the same topic. Often 3-4 times a week. I wasn't having sound sleep. Often used to wake up at 5 in the morning and then I couldn't go back to sleep because the nightmares used to shake me up pretty bad.
It took a lot to keep that in control. I still get those nightmares, but it's once a week or two. What did I do to keep it in check? I detached myself from everything related to that person. I'm still in touch, I just don't interact with them myself. If they do, I reply. And that's how I quit Instagram and Snapchat (because I used those only to interact with that one person).

1K opinions shared on Other topic. Your nightmares don't have to be about that person to be that person... your subconscious trying to tell you something or warn you about someone close to you
If you were to really focus on your every thought you will understand that we know things before they happen but we have to be paying attention and listens to ourselves but we're so busy usually caught up in our own heads or was something else going on that we always miss it
When you're talking to this person as you're listening to them listen to their words but also listen to what they're not saying if that makes sense05 Reply- +1 y
Yea i’ve read some dream interpretations before and one said I was trying to protect something from someone

Nightmares can also happen due to trauma. Do you trust that person?
Do you have a heavy sleep?

Are you worried with something?
I humbly suggest you seek a psychologist. - +1 y
@intovertedguy not sure if i trust him. Every now and again he says ignorant shit which makes me feel like i can't trust him longterm. I sleep heavier when with him but before that more light. Not worried about for therapy

A psychologist can help you understand why you are having nightmares. You can try and find a new psychologist. May I ask you what type of ignorant stuff does he tell you?

+1 yDepends on the type of nightmare, but most likely it wouldn't bother me, since nightmares are not a big deal for me. I grew up especially during my teens having nightmares most nights and occasionally getting sleep paralysis a decent amount. Very rarely does a nightmare impact my mental state when I wake up.
03 Reply- +1 y
Had sleep paralysis twice some years back. Extremely scary
- +1 y
Sleep paralysis isn't that bad overall, but it just sucks. It gets in the way of you properly sleeping.

Mine was actually being humped by something
2.2K opinions shared on Other topic. That's harsh! You can't be responsible for someone else's dream, (I've been yelled at for cheating in her dream before, and I was all WTH?) but if it was consistent, I'd think it was my subconscious letting me know something just wasn't right here.

I’m not trying to blame him. I’m just wondering if something is off
1.3K opinions shared on Other topic. I used to have a recurring nightmare about a girl I was sweet on but never dated when I was a teenager. At that time in my life if she'd agreed to sleep with me I would have kept going back if she'd set fire to me every night.
I hope that 35 years later I'm smarter than that, but I doubt it01 Reply- +1 y

+1 yFirst I would check my diet to see if what I am eating and what time is causing this. If nothing has changed and it just happens to be because I am sleeping next to this person then NO I would not be doing that anymore lol
01 Reply- +1 y
I don’t feel my diet has changed and I eat around the same time daily, before 8p
+1 yI was staying at a house I'd rented with friends. We had our own rooms. But I had recurring wet dreams that involved one of my friends (who was a girl) who was also staying with us. It was strange because I didn't have any of those kind of thoughts for her when I was awake. But wet dreams involving her several times a week.

+1 yBefore you blame your sleeping partner for your nightmares, think what else is going on in your life. Nightmares are often the mind's way of trying to deal with stress.
01 Reply- +1 y
I’m not blaming the person. I’m just saying that whatever has been going on has been all year but only this month of being around them have i had nightmares nearly every night
- 3.2K opinions shared on Other topic.
+1 yI probably wouldn’t even catch on that my partner might be the issue. I’d probably think stress, fatigue, a lot of my mind.
01 Reply- +1 y
It could be stress but i’ve stressed before him lmao and it wasn't happening like this

That has to be a factor in the decision making.
02 Reply- +1 y
I’m not having sex with them
+1 yI dont like the ones that include death reason why I sleep on separate beds now I just dont like those dreams and speaking of dreams if you see a stranger in your dreams its usually a spirit watching you sleeping youd probably want to wake up

💀💀
I would not, it would seem like my mind is telling me to keep away from this person.
And our mind has a tendency to pick things that we may not understand at that time but are important, some people call it "vibe."02 Reply- +1 y
Yea but i thought the vibe is usually good
+1 yProbably not. That's if she is the dream wife of Freddy Kreuger 🤣

Sigh… i think he was in one of the dreams this month
7.4K opinions shared on Other topic. Nope. Why do you think I keep contemplating the delete button?
01 Reply- +1 y
Wow..
+1 yThat would depend on the nightmares I have. But I'd probably stay and sleep next to them
02 Reply- +1 y
Nightmares like constantly being shot/shot at, having grizzly bears chase/attack, and so many others
- +1 y
I can handle those. So yeah, I'd stay.
5.1K opinions shared on Other topic. I would definitely take that as a sign. I wouldn’t sleep next to them.
01 Reply- +1 y
Yea I’m debating
+1 yI'd arrange an appointment with a mental health professional and discuss the issue with them before I decided what to do next.
01 Reply- +1 y
I dont think its that serious lmao
- 1.1K opinions shared on Other topic.
+1 yYeah I will. But I’ll also be discussing it with the person so that next time when I’m having a nightmare the person will help me calm down and go back to sleep.
01 Reply- +1 y
I do that too but i still feel weird

Lucky but if it happened hypothetically?
