Is 157 cm short for 17?

I live in south Florida and most girls in my school are either shorter than me, my height, or are taller than me by no more than 5 cm/ 2 inches. I never felt short or small but people I talk to online act like “oMg ur sO smAll ” when I tell them my height and now I feel like I have a distorted perception of how tall I actually am

No, there’s no specific height you have to be at 17 anyway. I’m 20 and my friends are your height or lower, they’re 20 also and are 4’11, 5’1
