Its a very popular test that is supposed to help you understand your personality more. I took it in hs and I was an INFP. Since then I've always gotten INFJ. What about you?

I understand where you're coming from. But I don't agree. They definitely have meaning if you take the test and answer the questions honestly. Of course whatever type you get doesn't define exactly who you are to a tee. But it is a lot more accurate than zodiac signs, haha

I'm definitely introverted and use my intuition a lot. Definitely think more than I feel. J/P, I could go either way, I feel like.
INTJ commonly become engineers, which I am; So this much seems accurate.

INTP. Once I thought it meant something but now I see no value in it. It's no more helpful to explain people's behavior by saying "they are INFJ" than it is to say that they are Pisces.

They are, but MBTI and other personality sorting systems aren't much better. I don't think it's helpful to sort people into rigid boxes. People like to do that, it makes them feel like they know something useful but in our personal lives we just have to deal with one person at a time and sticking a label on them isn't useful.

I have do you even know who created the meyer Briggs? I learned about it while you were still in grade school.
Go read about the two ladies who created meyer-briggs and then get back to us.
It's fun, but as I said there is no real science behind it.

It's not about science. It's more about behavior , your thoughts, etc. If you take the test correctly you'll notice it's pretty accurate. Of course not exactly and to a tee, it accurately scratches the surface and base of your personality... basically

It's accurate much in the way a fortune cookie is accurate. Nobody is ever completely extroverted or introverted for example and it can vary how much from groups or situation. Etc.

Nah this is fine. I find the meyer Briggs fun. I remember the first time I took it in college and I remember thinking having this problem with it. Because I am an introverted (I think most people on the internet are) but the class I was in a felt very comfortable. So I was very vocal.
I think it's a test that can give you an idea of your inclinations but it can't give you the full story on someone because people are just too diverse and situations alter people.

I find it fun too. Although I know I can't trust it to tell me everything there is to know about a person. My highschool teacher had us try it out. But don't you notice how when you take it, there's a percentage saying how introverted you are. So you might score 20 percent extrovert and 80 introvert. Its gonna place you as an I. Also for me, even though around the right people or in certain situations I may seem very outgoing and talkative, I know at heart I love being alone to recharge my little social battery lol. Do you remember what your results were?
