Our washer was not working and we got a friend to look it over and they could not fix it but after tinkering with it we realized the machine was broken and not merely clogged meaning we might need a new machine all together. We need our clothes washed as soon as possible cause my parents are going on vacation soon so my parents are driving to my cousin's house to use their washing machine while I vacuum and clean the house. I like to clean the house when my dad is not home cause he micromanages me and yells at me if he doesn't like the way I am cleaning the house or cooking so I try to do chores when he is not around to yell at me. I had lunch at 10:00 this morning cause my vitamins and minerals made me crave fat and I had a fatty pasta left over from yesterday's red lobster dinner.

I am not sure. I can ask my dad soon. My dad wants to wait until he returns from his vacation to fix it just in case their are new problems that arise from trying to fix it.

So my mom does the washing, my dad does the cooking and I do the cleaning, so I don’t know what the issue is. I think the light doesn’t turn on which it does when it’s in the middle of the wash. The pipe is activated, but no washing happens.

Nowadays when it comes to washing machines & dishwashers you can put them into test mode & go cycle by cycle to see where the problem is & some older units allow you do do it as well. I recently fixed my dishwasher & I put it in test mode to & determined it was the heating element however my heating element didn’t have to be replaced my flood switch which controls the heating element had to be replaced.
