Is 30c too small?

im about 5 ft 1/155 cm and i weight about 49-50kg/109 lbs

i used dif sites to try n measure my bra size and i consistently get 30c. do you think its too small? i know these types of questions get asked incessantly on here but its the one thing about me i dont really like and i want to know what other people think.

Share your bust and rib (under bust) measurements. What's the difference in inches?
(I'll bet it's at least 6".)

Forget about band sizing for now.

Let me know and I'll explain more. Bra sizing is a very poor indication of bust size.
I learned from the master, @softlyautumnal. If you feel comfortable, also share your waist and hip measurements to compare your overall proportions.

well, when i measure my band size its 26 (however, i put 28 in the calculators since thats the minimum they would accept) and bust is 32. waist is 24 and hips are 36. id appreciate your explanation very much

@anamaris05. Wow! 32", 24", 36" are great measurements for a 5' tall girl. You've got a under a 0.67 waist to hip ratio. That's very sexy. Ideal for a woman.

So cup sizes are based on the number of inch difference between your bust and rib measurements. Each cup size is an inch. 1"=A, 2"=B, 3"=C, etc.

You are 6". I consider that ideal. In accurate bra sizing, even a 28" band would give you a D cup (32-28=4. A, B, C, D) . But a 26" band that matches your rib measurement would give you a DDD in the U. S. and E in the UK.

I have never gotten a clear answer as to why they always recommend bands that are 2"-4" too large. I think it's to minimize the cost of making various cup sizes. It's cheaper to make different size bands.

But each extra inch of band decreases the cup by one size. See how that works?

They've got everyone convinced that C is medium and D is large. If a girl said she was a DDD people would think she was humongous.

Anyway, it doesn't matter what size bra a woman wears. She should wear what is most comfortable.

I'm just saying that the numbers are deceiving. There are sexy celebrities with 32" busts and 24" waists who wear 30B or even 32C bras. That makes no sense at all. I guarantee their actual rib measurements are the same as yours. When you see their boobs it's obvious that they add way more than 2" or 3" to their ribs.

Think about it. If your boobs only added 3" to your under-bust measurement (a true C cup) that would small, right? But your difference is 6". That's certainly not small and it's not too large. It's the ideal. You've got perfect boobs.

It sounds like you are closer to 26E, at least, possibly 26F. Did you take a leaning bust measurement? This is really important. I recommend the abrathatfits calculator to get an accurate measurement. If you put 28 into the calculators you used (which was already 2 inches bigger than your underbust measurement) and 30C is what you got, then that is extremely inaccurate.

This post really bumms me out, I question what women think of me all of the time. You name it, I've worried. But I've come to the conclusion that I am what I am. If she likes me, then she will like me.

There is someone for everyone, if your small, I assure you that there are many boys that like that. I'm on dating apps, if a woman has big fake boobs, hard pass for me. This is hard for me to say because I could be your dad, but in the 40yo women I am dating, I choose small breasts!

Your weight and height isn’t a clear determination of bra size. That’s not something that can be calculated through online sites. That’s something that can only be determined by a in-person bra fitting, or you going into a store and trying on different sizes to find the right one.

Oh god no! Many in-person bra fittings result in the wrong size completely. It is very easy to measure yourself and as long as you do it properly (using a website that uses accurate sizing, like abrathatfits) then you're good - AND you know you that you can trust yourself.

Each to their own I suppose. I’ve never had accurate measurements through online sites. I found my size through trial and error by trying bras on myself in stores.

Many online sites are inaccurate, for example the person who asked this question said that they put their underbust measurement (26 inches) into a calculator online and it told her this wasn't a size, so she had to put in 28 instead, and it gave her 30C. So this was DEFINITELY wrong. But if she used the abrathatfits calculator, which takes 6 measurements into account and doesn't use inaccurate sizing methods like the +4 method, it would be correct.
