Has anyone ever told you that you were hard to read?

I got hit with that comment the other day and was kind of caught off guard and wasn't sure how to respond to that. How did you respond to that?

Yes, but not so explicitly. And not very frequently.

I don't "wear my heart on my sleeve." I especially prefer to not show negativity on my face unless something is extremely severe. So, I may not give people clear indications about how I'm feeling through facial expressions. My body language can also be quite robotic sometimes which doesn't help.

I don't think I have any issues with positive expression. Maybe just with negative. I tend to prefer to be stoic. Not consciously, it just comes naturally. Unless I'm genuinely angry ofc. But it takes a lot to get me to that point.
