Got yelled at in traffic?

I was on my way back home and I was in the left lane and tried to get into the right lane. I made the mistake not to look before turning and didn’t see to driver coming. Then I heard tires screeching and he made an entire 360 onto the side of the road. Obviously I was panicking and felt bad as I was driving off. Then as I was heading towards the interstate the driver came in front of me and stopped and got out of his car and said “did you not see me coming? “ and I apologized to him. This is the first time that anything like this happened to me. I understand that I made a mistake but I felt like him stopping me in the middle of traffic was unnecessary

Be careful next time. Always double check, the fact that he did a full 360 spin could’ve killed him. So yeah you deserved to get yelled at and you’re lucky he didn’t do more than that like calling the cops, or given the violence in recent times worse.


Where I am we have problems with people not understanding what a yield means. And I’ve personally gotten to the point where I won’t slow down and let them in because they have the yield. I have dash cams and will happily make them cover repairs or a new vehicle because they don’t know what a yield sign is

People make mistakes. Getting upset that you cut him off is understandable, but that reaction could have been very dangerous for you. If that happened to me I would assume the guy was raging and intending violence. If safe to drive off, I would and head to the nearest Police station or substation. If not safe to drive off, I'd be prepared to use whatever force was necessary to deal with psycho.

Well you almost killed him, he did a 360 spin sounds like no joke, put yourself in his shoes his adrenaline must have been at an all time high, mostly when it all kicks in out of nowhere very fast, when he had to rely on his reflexes to not hit you, couldve been worse y'all couldve hit and been hospitalized, just let it go, shit happens
