As a married couple, will you share your apartment with friend?

If your spouse asks that one of his close and old friend is having a hard time living in other state so he is moving to the state you live in and to minimize the cost of living it would be better if they all live together.

You are familiar with that friend and the person is respectful too.

So what will your take on this. Will you help him/her out?

Or because of privacy concern you will be hesitant?

I could see doing it for a few months but not permanently.

Yeah obviously, one should help their friends out specially if they're old and so close friends. And on top of that he is from different country so make him feel like home in the foreign country. + Yeah at some point of time friends have to be on their own too and be independent. So allowing for few months is fine. But not for long obviously.

i would offer then a hotel room for 2 weeks and that way you don't have someone you're trying to get out of your house

Our friends are welcome to crash at our house when they need, but nothing long term.
