Been thinking about this recently - my dad is 5’10 and my mom is 5’2. I’m 5’8 and my brother is 5’8. Statistically I should be shorter as my parents aren’t very tall.
How tall are you guys and has anyone defied their genetics and been taller/shorter than they expected to be?
My father was 6'4" my mother was 5'6" and I am 6'5". My 4 sisters heights range from oldest-to-youngest shortest-to-tallest. 5'3" 5'6" 5'7" and 5'10". My oldest sister I think would have been taller but she had a chronic health condition that I think stunted her growth.
u me and my younger brother, we're clearly taller than my father and older brother...
but we are as tall as both of our grandparents were... and our greatgrandparents were like towers... lol
so I think this variance is very normal
Most ladies are taller than their mom but shorter than their dad but I have a cousin with a tall mom and a short dad and her height is around equal to her dad and it’s hard to tell who is taller between the two.
My dad is 6’3”ish, my mom is 5’6”ish and I’m 5’9”. So, I would say I’m more of a happy medium between the two. I have three older brothers that are over six foot, so I’m still short in my family.

i'm 5'8 (172cm). my dad is 5'9 (175cm) and my mom is 5'10 (177cm)
My father was 5'9" and mu mother was 5'11"/ I am six feet tall.
My father is 6 and my mother 5'3, I'm 5'6 / 5'7.
