I'm not a woman, so I have no experience.
But I'll answer what I would think.
I think there are only two things a woman would like about her period.
1. You have an indicator of when the best time would be to get pregnant if you'd wish to get pregnant.
2. If you don't get your period it's a good indicator that you're either pregnant or that there is an imbalance, so it's like a warning which is good.

Bonus answer because it's rare
3. Some women have a period blood fetish and/or make art using their period blood.

All in all, I just feel bad for women that they have to go through it.
It must be horrible.
I have gout on a regular basis so I sort of have an idea, but that's in my damn foot.
I can't imagine what it would feel like in my abdomenal area.
