There was a supermarket across the street from my high school. Shopping carts used to end up there all the time. Somebody told me they cost around 300 bucks to buy. This was the 80s when 300 bucks was a lot of money

I remember seeing one that a homeless guy built a cube-shaped storage level on top of, secured it, and had tarps attached to waterproof it. The guy was clever.
