100%. I think MLK and virtually all of the civil rights leaders would be appalled by the anti-white rhetoric that has arisen over the past few years. They understood that not all "white" people were enemies.
I Have a Dream (1963)
"The marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the Negro community must not lead us to a distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny. And they have come to realize that their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom. We cannot walk alone."
"In the process of gaining our rightful place, we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred."
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.”
“I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.”
“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”
“I have a dream that one day... little Black boys and Black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.”

I was one of those who marched for civil rights during the 1960s. I could tell endless stories about my friendships and interactions with "black" people in my life, how I respected some tremendously, and how we treated each other as human beings without any thought of race or color. Many of them had grown up during segregation and were still some of the most outstanding people I ever met.
All this racist, anti-white rhetoric is counterproductive. I believe it is being stirred by unimaginably wealthy and powerful forces (globalists) who want to tear this country apart by pitting people against each other.

MLK would be disgusted by the modern woke BLM terrorists.

I have seen videos of people calling others privileged because they are white. That may be right in some cases, but no one should ever assume someone that. If someone Hispanic or African American has a home, but a white man has no home, the white man is not privileged then. My point is, you never know what someone is else is going through, and if someone has a roof over their head and food to eat, they are the privileged one. That's all a person needs. Everyone judges by how much someone has and how much money they make.
I once saw this award show with this lady saying she came from repression. This lady makes 5 million dollars a year. There are people that can't even afford a meal. People have no idea how good they have it. Yes, I think there is a lot of racism in the world, especially the U. S, and it's really bad with the older people.
Everything in life is based off of luck. People often think I'm gay because of how I talk. They just assume it, so I get judged by my voice. That's not much different than being judged by skin color. It's just the voice instead. Maybe some gay people have a lisp, but straight people have one also. The world is full of ignorance and stupidity, It's so off balance and people are fed so many lies because they are told what to belief.
I only believe what I want to believe and not what others tell me. There may be truth to some statements, or they may not be.
If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a million times that to label all white people as automatically racist, oppressors of all other races and privileged upon birth is not keeping in line with this MLK quote:
“I have a dream that one day my 4 little children will grow up in a nation where they are judged not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”
For all the cries from the Woke folk who claim white people are blind to their racism and privilege they sure have a funny way of being blind themselves.
Anyone who wants to argue, let’s have at it, but don’t bother trying to convert me to the Woke religion. I’d literally rather be dead then be in league with you people and you’re twisted teachings.Accurate, minus two details.
1.) I'm willing to make an educated guess that the vast majority of Caucasian Americans have never been called racist or privileged by non-Caucasian Americans just because they happen to be Caucasian. It just doesn't happen. That rhetoric is almost exclusively generated and disseminated by other Caucasian Americans who are far-left lunatic liberals with fashionable faux guilt complexes. They need therapy.
2.) There is no "white privilege" in the United States. It's GREEN Privilege. If you have Green (money) in the United States, you have privilege. Period.
This can happen to white people as well as anyone of any race. I was in Walmart in my area, this woman was Hispanic and had kids, so I'm sitting on this bench. I decide to move down to give her room. She looked at me like I was trash, so all I did was except it and yes it really hurt me inside because I accept all people.
Classy. I wonder how many people would recognize the person though. Not the ones who should be, I'm afraid.
First thing I notice is that "privileged" is misspelled.
Then I read the whole thing... absolutely right... and totally against MLK's "I Have a Dream" speech at the Lincoln Memorial.
It's the truth. People often forget that they can be racist towards white people too
It's not entirely wrong and points to an issue I do see arise in response to racial tensions in the US. (Like, I to believe in systematic racism, etc, but I also believe we make it personal in ways that it shouldn't be if we want to promote healthy engagement and problem solving)
its correct, as MLK once said judge a man not by the color of his skin but the content of his character. and he championed for that
Thank you. As a poor white person, this is something that has always rubbed me the wrong way. Like, if I'm so privileged, why didn't I ever have video games? Why didn't I get to go to college? Why don't I have nice clothes? Why don't I ever get to eat steak? Why don't I have a "summer house"? Why have I never traveled to Europe?
My first thought is that it's calling out the racism of the extreme left. MLK campaigned for freedom and equality. He never demonized people for being white.
MLK was a criminal and a womanizer who would have his lackeys stoke riots and unrest before he came into town to create this image of a peacemaker for himself. Who cares what he thinks?
True, which might partially explain why King is not highly thought of in academic circles.
Ignoring things that are inherently racist is racist. Legacy students are unsurprisingly predominantly white.
Nope, it isn't.
But it's just a bullshit meme, made for upvotes. Not rational debate.
I mean, that's just common sense. Even if the woke bullies refuse to comprehend that.
I think that all humans are humans and equal no matter what their color is...
definitely Photoshopped but Dr King really did feel that way.
Not exactly, because society is doing it. The fact is, racial privilege exists. Whites are advantaged in the US. It's not really a judgment so much as an observation
It is what is under the skin that makes a person.
