My bathroom is FINALLY being replaced this week. After 18 months of preparing, planning and putting money aside. Bathtub and shower has been ripped out, walls have been exposed and I’m so excited for my new shower cubicle to be installed, and all of the black mould to be cleared from the walls!

I picked up a run-down house earlier this year and have been renovating the whole thing. Just stripping it down, fixing things and getting rid of horrible odors have taken 6 months. Almost to the point I can start putting it all back together again. Focusing on the bathroom myself right now. Waiting on a plumber to get some broken pipes replaced. Had to haul 18,000lbs of trash and junk to the landfill so far. Which is impressive considering how small the house is.

last I've started and been working on is... the garage, the area is very limited, so I'll have to do magic to make it as practical and functional as possible... lol

I just had a few windows and central air conditioning installed last summer. I am having a bay window replaced as soon as it is delivered.

Everything except for the toilet & bathroom window is being replaced, as those two things were only replaced 2 years ago. But new flooring, new shower, new walls, new vanity/sink, new ventilation and a new ceiling!

Hahaha sadly flying @Worst out to New Zealand to do my plumbing is not in the budget. The quote given by the builders & plumbers working on my bathroom is $35,000. Down payment of $15,000 has already been made, rest will be paid when the job is done and they can let me know the exact cost remaining.
