I have a pet that sheds and I clean up after him daily so no one can really tell. It's a lot of work but you gotta do it. I'm also neat so that helps that I have a routine to keep my place from looking awful.
If I see a friend's house that has pet hair everywhere I realize that I'm only like 5 days away from looking like this lol. So I try to be kind and just say nothing. If it's like a hoarders house with pet shit and fur everywhere well that's gross.
I have empathy for people that struggle to keep up with housework because I know it's difficult. Some people aren't as disciplined or just get overwhelmed. a lot of times people are embarrassed by their mess and they will get to it but not nearly frequently enough. It's typically a time management thing. A complete slob is different. That's gross.
This long answer is partly due to the different levels of how bad this can be lol.
it makes me bring my tools and gear...
I'll get it cleaned in no time...

the best I've found so far are... sticky gel tapes for lint
I like these because they won't leave any sticky residue or anything, and they can work really quick
it will work really well with those stubborn ones
really do... they're a game changer
It's gross. And the homes always smell. And the pet hair is just what we can see. There's also feces all over it too. I know because I've had all sorts of animals.
If it's a few hairs it's fine. If it's a lot, then it grosses me out

I had a pet many years ago, and understand the struggle of keeping the furniture clean of pet hair. When one has invited guest, it is important to keep your pet in one room, and make sure that the pet's hair is not to be found in all other parts of the house.
If a family is not cleaning up the pet hair from the house or apartment, then they are not a good fit for that pet. Not cleaning up the hair is bad both for the pet and its family whom it lives. Pets can have respiratory problems caused by breathing in hair they have shed because it has never been cleaned up, and allowed to break down into smaller parts that find their way into the pet's system and yours!
Always keep the place clean for both yours and your pet's health!
i will hide my disgust once, and even sit on it, but also decide never to return and even unfriend the lazy. of course launder pants the same day.
Doesn't bother me. If it bothers you then you shouldn't be there. It they she'd all over your furniture then that's different, but if you're in their home shut up and sit down.
I had to clean a dog/cat owner's car a few times, these damn animal hairs stick to certain fabrics like glue.
Usually I wonât sit down, im allergic to most types of cat fur, and dog fur sticks to me like glue 🥲 especially white fur on black clothing.
Bella I don't really like it but I'm not disgusted by it. I would still sit on the furniture.
I wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving!

I literally am covered in animal hair 90% of the time so I donât care.
I can't wear black clothes anymore because my pet is white and it covers everything no matter how much I dust, vacuum, or mop. As long as it's not black it's fine. Lint brushes suck lol. I dry clean some clothes and leave it in the plastic and that helps
@Friendlybro79 there is no preventing it when you work with animals đ
Oh my I can only imagine. I work with animals but not same kind you're talking about lol
As a former provider for ten cats, I would say I don't fucking care.
Pet hair doesn't gross me out, but I'd rather not wear it on my clothes. I have 2 dogs and there's no end to the shedding.
I got two dogs too, it doesn't bother me as long as it's not a thick layer of fur.

It makes me feel like planning my exit strategy from said Dog Hair Castle.
It doesnât bother me because we have 1 monster dog and 4 cats. We have pet hair all over our furniture, too.
I make sure to add some of my own hair to the mix.
This is why I prefer short haired dogs. But people donât groom their pets enough when theyâre domesticated.
Probs worried about wearing black clothing to the persons house as I would leave looking like a fluff ball
Personally Iâm not a pet fan tbh never had one myself but thatâs just me.
i feel their pain, im watching my brothers dog rn and heâs so old itâs like a whole nother level of shedding with his coat where itâs like clumps of hair are like tumbleweeds everywhere lol
I feel... that next time I perhaps better don't bring my dogs when I visit this someone?
My room is a reptile expo, idc about fur hair
I would assume they hate cleaning.
It be what they do. So no don't bother me.
I guess I wonât be sitting down at all
doesn't matter to me
Eh whatevs, not my problem.
I'm horrified
Doesn't bother me animals shed lol
Very uncomfortable
I hate it
