I'm partial to Irish girls meself. They are some of the most beautiful in the world.

And their lilting accents are charming.
My own ancestors were Irish Catholic and immigrated to the U. S. in the 1850s. I met some of them who were farmers and still had brogues.
I've visited the Irish Republic twice. Once for a week and once for two weeks. I LOVE Ireland. The women were always really nice. I absolutely love Ireland.
Any American girls who act superior are provincial twits. Don't pay them any mind.
Yay! So glad to hear you loved it, though you will find the people in Northern Ireland a bit different than in the Republic. Sometimes I think their accent is a bit different. The Republic still uses Gaeilge (Irish) , but also English. Of course as in every other nation there have been a lot of immigrants settling there.
Do you mean collectively or by a specific group? If the former, they're not. If the latter, well, you're going to have to be more specific.
But... are you completely unfamiliar with Irish history? There are a good number of groups out there who see, in the Irish, the repudiation of their core principles. Nobody's going to like someone like that.
Just remember, there is Nothern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, 2 separate countries, as it were. One is part of the UK.
Yes, and the fact that it's part of the UK is why it ISN'T another country. George wasn't going to give them a fully independent republic.

I didn't know this was a thing? I'm not sure I agree with your premise.
I'm a big fan of Irish girls. I've never heard people looked down on them. Where? In Ireland, where do people look down on them?
I happen to like Irish girls.
I don't think it is true. I like your name @irishstewed
I dated a red head who was of Irish decent. She could play guitar and sing beautifully. She had a really pretty face too.
I did not look down on her. It never crossed my mind
"I didn't say they were more beautiful, but looked down on by American girls."
Before you are upset about their boos, remember what made them cheer.
They cheered at her? Or did you mean Jeered? 🤔
Anyone who looks down on others must be a very tall person :)
(which isn't a compliment)
Or they are very short.
I've never heard that before. If anything, American women are looked down on due to the majority's bad morals and low quality.
That's not true in my case specifically as I like Irish girls, especially I am obsessed with red heads, I know it might be a stereotype that Irish women are red heads but I still like them.
No offense to any Irish woman.
I don't know but, seeing as how we Irish were treated worse than blacks about 120 years ago, that MIGHT have something to do with it!
I’ve heard they’re a bit odd and aren’t untrustworthy. I’ve never met one though, never been to Ireland. Despite being like 50% Irish lol.
I don't think they are, Irish women never seemed any less beautiful than American women tbh
I didn't say they were more beautiful, but looked down on by American girls. :(
Oh I thought that's what you meant, Trust me that Irish girls are better than American girls, y'all don't want the American women's validation because most of them seem to have issues, now turn the frown upside down ha
Frankly, a lot of people in the UK don't care for American girls either. I have no clue why that is.
Cause American girls are overrated, I can assure you that y'all Irish women got a better mindset that most American girls, America is really just falling apart in general.
I don't know where that happens. I've never heard anybody here in America say anything bad about Irish girls
Maybe not so much here, but in Ireland they do when they visit. The funny thing is that these American girls are more boisterous and louder than any Irish girl - for the most part anyways.
Irish girls are always kind of weird. Dolores O'riordan, Sinead o'connor. In fact I don't think I've ever met an Irish girl that wasn't at least a little..."off".
I don't look down on any type of women my favorite color is NAKED.
😯🤔😚
Is it just me or are Irish chicks hotter? I thought this was a known thing... Because of the sexy accent
Who is looking down on Irish girls? This isn't the 1920s.
Never heard that before, I always liked Irish girls
looked down on? the only time they get looked down on is when we're trying to look down their shirts. ;)
I would disagree with your Q. Any evidence to support your theory?
I don't look down upon irish girls. I actually love the accent!
By whom? I love hearing an Irish woman speak.
I have never heard of this.
Not sure that they are, I never seen that.
By who? Everyone loves the Irish
OK, could be mistaken. Does everyone love the English too I wonder?
I've never heard of that.
Are they really, though? I love the accent! 🤔😉😘
I don't look down on Irish girls!
I dont know, they seem fun
I highly doubt this is a thing in Florida
I have never heard that.
Are they? Says who?
Someone who has experienced it in real life.
Just because his is your experience, doesn't mean it is the same for everyone else!
Or maybe it is just the part of the US they come from? Lower class people seem to look down on others a lot, probably because it makes them feel "superior".
What do u live in America or Ireland?
Lived in both. Currently living in the US.
