i think just caring for people and showing them respect regardless of simply just action - someone could give and do amazing things for charity but still be a complete asshole, and someone who's killed someone may be justified - there's plenty of people throughout history who have been great people but not GOOD people - but the good/bad scale isn't just black and white obviously, can you define good simply as holding the door open or helping someone pick up something they dropped or giving money to a homeless person etc? there can be good people who can still be assholes but not bad, and bad people who can also do some good
