It's nice to visit places that get snow, but I wouldn't want to live there.
I used to live in southern California where we could go to the warm beach or drive up into the mountains to ski or play in the snow.
Where my wife and I live now, we are below the snow line. But in the winter, we can drive 20 minutes up the highway to town when it looks like a winter wonderland. Or we can drive two hours to Lake Tahoe to ski or cross country ski. We had a friend who owned a luxury cabin on the lake, and it was magical to spend weekends there in the winter.
Vacationing in the snow can be really fun, but I'm sure glad that we don't get snow at our house every year.
Outside of Russia, the countries that get the most snow are typically pretty good. The snow might suck but the countries are good. Tropical countries are nice to visit but are some of the most corrupt
I live in Alberta; this year we barely have any snow coverage. It’s not terrible when it does snow sure in the moment and sometimes it gets bad but the day after when everything’s ploughed it’s pretty normal. Just gotta be a little extra careful when you’re walking because black ice is a bitch and the ground is hard
I love the snow. The strongest women are from these climates.

I would take the snow...
but there's many places out there who have it less difficult to deal with, and that might be better than any of the extremes, I am sure it is
I would love to move to a country where snow doesn't exist and the temperature doesn't drop under 20C...
I wouldn't want to live in such a place
