I mean with everything in your flash wrapped into a bow for someone else, would you say you had a good life?

I have had a very good life. Despite a tremendous amount of challenges, some pain, and a need to work very hard it’s been absolutely amazing. I’m blessed beyond measure. Most of those challenges made me a stronger or better person and are a consequence of the life I chose. The stories and experiences I’ve collected were usually worth the price of admission. I have a beautiful and unique wife, healthy and intelligent children (both of whom I adore for their individuality), a nice home, a stable income, and work which is equal parts exciting and (while dangerous & demanding) is a lot of fun. I have well behaved dogs, some good friends, and most importantly a relationship with God that gives me focus and peace.

It has been mostly good. I try to concentrate on the fact I have a great wife and 3 great kids. My job is going good. It was very difficult for me to get through college. I had to drop out twice because I kept running out of money. It took me 15 years to do something that should have taken me 4.
