During the pandemic I started taking nature photo to help keep my depression at bay, these are all photos taken by me between April 2020 to September 2023.

For me rose's are hard to beat when it comes to how beautiful they look and smell. Bleeding hearts are interesting and beautiful to me too though

Dahlias are gorgeous, with so many varieties. But they are not fragrant and I love fragrance.
Gladiolus are beautiful and fragrant
For both beauty and fragrance, I would go with certain roses,
But there are lots of others.
We have three orange and two lemon trees. When they are in bloom, they smell heavenly.Hydrangeas are neat and all (I'm a flower that's also a PH indicator!), but I have a soft spot for dandelions. Everyone hates them, and stops just short of napalm when it comes to getting rid of them, but they just laugh and keep growing, bringing a bright spot of color to the endless ocean of useless green in suburbia.
They're also edible, every part of the plant, and nobody cares if you take them. There've been days when dandelions were the only calories I had; that's going to make you feel VERY kindly toward a flower.
