It's been decades, but I was just talking about it. I was doing some computer work for my buddy's dad, and he was asking "what was that game you brought over when you first started working on my computer?" (which was back around 1991/92), and I said, "oh, that was Doom." He had a 486/DX2 66MHz, which was a powerful computer in its day, and Doom ran better on that then on my PC at the time.

Of course, Quake came out, and no one really looked back. Hell, it's been 25 years since I've played Quake!

I finished Doom 1 (3 episodes) and Doom 2 on Nightmare. I finished TNT Evolution on UV Fast. I finished Plutonia Experiment on Normal UV.

As for the 4th Episode of Doom, I finished it on UV Fast too.
